No offence to those with orders down. But that is absolutely horrible.

Well, the rear view shown there isn't exactly flattering. IMO it looks better in the frontal shots I have seen but even so, it's no oil painting!

Agreed.

Coupes never look right as convertibles IMO. It'll look better when the roof's off, but how often will that be in the UK unless you hardly ever use it.

The 355 spider was passable, but it was a much more delicately designed car than the 360/430. Design elements like flying buttresses can't be readily emulated in canvas.

The arse end of a 430 is the worst angle of the car anyway. Too many shut lines and too many "family" features have been grafted on.

The rear seems to be lacking a diffuser...maybe these cars aren't properly finished yet?

Theres a few extra pictures of a silver one which although slightly disguised, is somewhat more complete looking....

I like it..At first I didn't like the F430 but it has really grown on me. I'm sure when one is seen in the flesh, your opinions will change.

hhmm...

The hip line is just SOOOOO wrong.

I really think Ferrari went for the cheap route with the F430's looks. Obviously did some sensational work with the handling and electronics... but when it came to styling the car they must have run out of cash.

I must say though, the 360Stradale is one of the best looking Ferraris i've ever seen...

Plan for 05 - see an F430 in the metal (and probably edit this post)

Still not convinced by the 430 but then again the 360 always looks much better in the etal than it does in pics.

It looks like the top people in the automotive design studios are all putting psychotropic substances in the coffee machine these days, Ferrari held out for a while but it seems that nowhere is immune. The response from behind rosy tinted specs is that these designs grow on you - nope - see them in the metal - ugh. And just to ensure I get flamed in real style, the exhaust note from modern f cars is nowhere, far too manufactured and tinny...for that you can't blame the factory just the idiots at the EU who don't appreciate music...Tubi would be out of business if the factory kit was up to it. Hopefully this set of afflictions will pass.

I think it looks better in Silver and the Red Roof is appealing but I guess like all things its down to personal choice.
