After an excellent Bedford this weekend when the handling was at times a tad unpredictable (my excuse!) I'm going to get the Geo set-up checked and changed to a more track orientated setup by JZ Machtech.

Question - do you think that this may infringe the official warranty as it is essentially work carried out by a non-OPC?

Kieran - I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it would be possible for them to detect a geometry change - there's no visible indicators and the OPC mechanics don't see that many GT3s so even on a test drive I doubt they'd notice the difference. Apart from that the GT3 is specifically sold as a track-capable car with adjustible suspension etc, so I don't think they'd have an issue at all.

I very much doubt it. Anyway, if you like JZ's work, just get any future warranty claims done by them. You don't have to have the work done at an OPC.
Porsche warranty claims inspectors are more used to inspecting Vectras and mondeos than 911s and usually go with the specialist garage on the need for work to be undertaken. My OPC warranty is just about up(after 10 yrs) and to date they have never queried any of my claims, most of which have been made through JZ. My car is far from standard and some of the changes(completely new front suspension) have never been commented upon either by the OPC or the warranty inspectors.

I am certain that there would be no warranty issue.

I had my Mark 2 adjusted by JZ last year (before getting the Manthey suspension) and my OPC knew and never batted an eyelid.
