For the introduction of Christijan Albers Minardi let him drive the F1 Minardi through the streets of Amsterdam. Awesome sound, even for a Minardi

It's not like he's driving a 1 litre Micra where the other boys get to drive V10's !!! Minardi get within a few seconds (max 107%) of the best driver/car combination in the world*.....I don't think that should be "deflated" in any way!

*debate as necessary, but not here!

Sorry, didn't mean to change the thread, but thought that bit needed saying!! Hell....it's not like I even support or am a particularly big fan of Minardi hehe

Anyhow......as you were men

PS:....feckin good sound !!

I say though - was it particularly well supported in Amsterdam? there were shots going away from the camera where the public lined up along the side was "sparse" at best!!

I was lucky enough to go to F1 in Regent Street London...500,000 people turned up for that! It was fantastic! Admittedly there were more cars, but I was jst a bit surprised that some shots seemed so empty!?

Thanks
Tony

Very good.

PS> Minardi at the Brazilian GP in 2004 beat the pole position time from 2003

I thought the 107% rule had gone now? Having said that there is an interview in this weeks Autosport with Paul Stoddart who makes some interesting points about Minardis performance, particularly considering their budget.

I believe so

This stat slightly frustrates me, as in 2003 Brazil was about the 2nd race. In 2004 it was the last so its almost 2 years worth of development instead of the year they make out.

Good video - shame about the music. The shot of the Minardi driving along the tram tracks makes it look like a Scalextric car !
