Can anyone give me an idea of how much a 12 000 mile service usually costs on a 4.5 Chimaera?

At a TVR dealer, probably about £350-400. At a reputable TVR independent, probably about £300-350. All plus VAT of course -- prices rough guesstimates only.

Joolz charges £360 inc VAT, isnt too far from you, and doesnt charge for things that dont need doing. Isnt too far from you, and is a "fairly" nice guy to deal with.

What do you mean "fairly" nice?
Apart from his appalling coffee, he's a top bloke
(makes note to buy some decent coffee for Joolz).

Need a 12k myself. Was going to Fernhurst as they have always done it since supplying the car from new.

I started a thread on a similar theme last week. PetrolTed suggested Offord who charge 360 quid for a 12,000 mile on a Griff...

The TVR Centre is around 700

But you do get a "jet wash valet" especially if you say not to do it

Put the claws away old boy, you'll scare him off.

Fair point well put though, and to be truthful self praise is no praise. (does that mean i dont need to send you the 30 quid I owe? )

Julian,

As a customer of Stuart, I think that he is well worthy of a recommendation. He serviced my Cerby on Saturday (10 hours + 200 miles to get to me & back) & gave a full report on problems / observations.

Sorry Julian, I hear a lot of good things about you, but you are just too far away.

joolz says : that's better .. 3rd party recommendations are by far the best advertising you can get.
