The BBQ was good, the weather came good in the end and the cars were fantastic - the white SEAC and be-winged Cerbera 4.5 (shown on the front of Sprint the other month) god were they LOUD !!!!

And the 5 Cerbera's that left in convoy at 5:30 the line from Tombstone - "you tell em that i'm comin and that hell is comin with me" couldn't have been truer !!

Mr Tank sir cheers for organising a gr8 day out hope that we get a TVR Mania 2003

Cheers
Darren

PS - got about 50 digital pics that i'll send to Ted maybe he'll be kind enough to post them?? if not you could try my Fotango album

Just like to say a 'BIG UP' to Mr.Tank and all the Cambridge Posse and not forgetting the sponsers for a great day,top BBQ and had a nice time myself out sprinting a Cerbera,Chimeara and a Tuscan and was also completly wasted by a tomato,Tuscan and a race tuscan(the white one).
Realised on the way home how smooth the runway actually was.
Also i was a bit late gettin there as when i filled up at Baldock she wouldnt start 4 near on 1 hour, and also on opening the bonnet found the ali rod that holds the sliders either side had snappedWhere do i get i new one from?????
Time for a load of beer Now cu

Great time cant wait till 2003.

I second (or third, or is that fourth!) all above comments - what a top day! Great setting in amongst the museum peices, lots to do on what would otherwise be a fairly long session. LARGE amounts of grin factor from my sprints down the runway, cheers to Justin for the run in his Taimar, and of course to Steve and the rest of his team for the blast in his two seater Tuscan - He reckoned somewhere between 160 and 170 terminal just before the braking zone - quite something !!! Many many thanks and congratulations to Mr 'Andy' Tank and his HUGE team of excellent helpers for a top time, and great value too. I WILL be bringing mine next year!!

All the best,

Tony

Flippin' 'ell that was a good day out. Thanks to all involved in setting up such an excellent event!

The sprinting has got me hooked - might have to start looking at track days...

Top marks to the driver of the white Tuscan racer, the doughnut antics etc had me and my mate in stitches.

Can't wait 'til the next time...

What a day im totally exhausted. I tagged along with the Ratpack(Total speed freaks!)seeing as it was an old Fighter station I thought id press the flying helmet in to action but alas I couldnt pick up enough speed on the M11 to take off!!.Ive got to say being surrounded by all the cerberas and the tuscan( PRODUCED A GLOURIOUS SOUND) they must have heard us coming three counties away. The sound created inside the Dartford tunnel when the cerberas booted it sounded great in such an enclosed space.I know I keep mentioning TVR sounds but thats what these cars are superior at.On a final note best sound of the day went to the white 450 seac which sounded like a rumble of Thunder!. Any one see the ferrari 348 on the sprint he wouldnt floor it on the runway incase he got embarrassed.what a shame!.

Got back pretty late last night, but went to bed with a huge grin still on my face

What a great day, the venue is stunning, (last time I went to Duxford I was 15, it's come on a bit since then) the food was truly excellent. I am really very impressed with the way the BBQ was organised.

But... top part of the day has to be the runway sprinting, apart from the opportunity to hoon down a long flat strip of concrete, we used my griff as a camera ship, to get some vid footage of Patrick, Nacnud and Brm Brm, which was awesome to see and HEAR from where I was sitting. Early indications look like the results are good (well done Mrs Dan for managing to hold the camera reasonable steady) I'll try to get Nacnud to post something on the Bristol site.

Many, many thanks to all involved.

Cheers Dan

Just bunged a load of piccies and a report onto the Bristol website at www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk

Dunno how Patrick his got his exhaust so loud. My silencer is straight through like a motorcycle race can and I couldn't hear it next to Patrick's. It sounds the business though.

Hi all,

I have also just posted up a report and photos on the Cambridgeshire web site :
http://web.ukonline.co.uk/cambs-tvrcc/index.html

I know that Andy (Mr Tank) and the rest of us from Cambridge had a great time and enjoyed ourselves despite being totally sh**ged out by the end of the day and never ever wanting to see another beef burger.

Many thanks to ALL who came to Mania and for making it a great success and also to Mr Tank our RO.

Regards

Mike

Well done Mr Tank and crew! What an Awesome day! BBQ Was Cars were and the whole atmosphere of the day amazing!

That CDL Tuscan - F*ck me that thing moves!

Did anyone see that porker batter into that dip on the peri track about half way along, I was a passenger in the griff behind it, he must have been doing a ton easy, took off, all 4 wheels clear off the ground. I thought I had it on video but the camera dipped just as he hit it!

Patrick, dave has a copy of the video I took, I'm sticking it on VHS myself later on and If you want I'll send you a copy. sadly alot of it is of Dash and sky, a mix of SEAC acceleration and G's during slides but there is some pretty good stuff of the three SEAC's together, I'll get it on the net later hopefully! But I won't put the run home up

Just got back from Duxford yesterday, first TVR day out since buying my TVR last year. What a top day, couldn't get enough of that sprinting, need to buy a faster one now, couldn't believe how fast that grey Tamora went down the runway.

Saw a multicoloured Tuscan (Reg 31 DAVE) with lots of smoke on the runway, did it have engine trouble !!

Thanks to everyone who organised Mania, definitely back next year !!!!!!

Great day Mr Tank and everybody from the Cambs region - superb day out. BBQ was terrific and you coped brilliantly with feeding the masses. You even managed to sort the weather out in the end.
Thanks
Paul
