Testing is Monday, Tue & Wed.

Teams are expected to be: Jordan (Un-confirmed on number of days but likely all 3) Renault (All 3
days) Red-Bull (Monday) McLaren (Tuesday)

Apparently it's free entry...

Anyone going?
Anyone been before?
Is it worth going?

I would really be interested in getting some good photos...

I'll be there on Thursday, but its dependant upon the weather. They think it might snow, in which case all bets are off.

Anyhow, if you see a guy with ginger hair and a huge tripod/camera/box lens, with a van and genny, that'll be me!

Done this sort of thing before have we?

I would love to go but the Cerbera is sitting with no clutch master cylinder at the moment. If I can get it done then I am there!

Can you just go straight in? Do you have to pay?

Iv'e been a few times before it is free to get in but only a small part off the circuit if open to spectators (the complex at luffield).

Also you can never garantee any track action the teams may spend all day tinkering with a cars in the garage.

I would be popping down for a couple of hours over the next few days but unfortunatly i have work commitments.

But the testing is only Mon-Wed - what is going on on Thursday for you to be there?

Just got back. Very very cold. Snowed for a while. Nothing ran until about 3 this afternoon (and probably constant since I left knowing my luck).

Would I go again? Not at this time of year anyway.

You didn't miss anything - ... Renault's test driver Franck Montagny completed three laps during the afternoon. David Coulthard completed just an installation lap for the Red Bull team while Jordan didn't run at all. Renault and Jordan will be there tomorrow.

Most of the other teams are testing at Valencia.

Renault are
...and Jordan might do something. Doubt if McLaren will be there....as the rule disallowing simultaneous sessions stopped them testing at Valencia to-day where the weather is a lot better.

To-days action were shakedown runs from Montagny in the Renault and Kimi in the McLaren. Fisi and Alonso did pit-stop practice.
Light covering of snow in the morning - cleared up mid afternoon - before more snow showers later.

Weather forecast for to-morrow is worse and for more snow showers - so I've decided to give it a miss.

Just as well I decided to forego my trip there

Nothing happenned...snow and sleet showers stopped Renault doing anything worthwhile....on the positive side Renault did manage to do their shakedown runs over the 3 days and pit stop practice.
Meanwhile in Valencia - weather hampered the other teams testing there - though was only rain in their case.
