Ultimas in Scotland?
Discussion
I saw an Orange Sports in Elgin once, not sure if locally owned.
Other than that, the 3 mentioned by Roy are all I know of in Scotland. I occasionally make Knockhill (usually SIDC organised track days). I may also try the East Fortune event in May organised by Javelin, car should be out of hibernation by then.

You're more than welcome to come and have a look at mine if I'm close by. Same goes for anyone here abouts who's serious about building an Ultima....the more the merrier.
If the weather ever lets up I might even get it out on the road soon...got an ECU to map! Glad I wasn't using it today though...saw some brave soul in an Elise with about 1/2" of clearance between the snow and the underside. eek.

Thanks very much for your replies - I will certainly be hooking up with each of you at some time in the future as I plan my build. If I dont see you at KH, then I'll ask to visit you and p!ss you off with loads of questions no doubt.
There was a red GTR just a mile from me in Crook of Devon, but the chap built it to sell it (metallic red / tan interior) and I dont think he has it any more. He was advertising at 65K at Perth Motorsports show 2 years ago.
Until recently I had a GT40 replica that I built in 1996. Currently got a 911 turbo of 1989 vintage with only 39000 miles - so I'll be sticking that in the classified section soon.
Thanks again,
Tom.

Here's one more of the clan, just south of Glasgow. The car is only just back together after a US engine cock-up, but it all sounded good last night when it fired up for the 1st time since august. Hope to be ready for Knockhill's Hot Marque evenings soon, so will look forward to seeing a few Ultimas there. Any visits or questions are very welcome.
Tom,
The car you refer to in the Crook of Devon is the one I now own although the original builder would probably not recognise it due to major revamping this past (and present!) winter - much meachanical/electrical changes, interior changed out completely and paint job coming shortly...unless the sun comes out, that is!. Should be on the road shortly.
On a secondary note...one of the biggest PITA's was refurbishing the wheels....has anyone tried Zoopseal yet? I have the wheels back to standard now but am tempted to powdercoat the centres to save this chore every couple of years....or....anybody any experience with anodizing???
Keep between the green bits, Roy
