Just saw the ad in the Sunday Times motoring section. Seems P1 is getting new stock and selling off their current stock, including:

Murcielago (38,000) = £107,500

Vanquish (30,000) = £95,000

360 Spyder (31,000) = £89,000

High mileage.

Probably thrashed to hell and back?

Interesting. I guess it depends on the servicing..... Guess the prices are a tad on the high side tho'

once you've done some more miles in the murci, guess it would be quite hard to sell on

That Murcie has been known to have a few faults and a few clients have turned up to find that its unavailable due to mechanical problems.

No mate that was their 02 car which did have problems. They replaced it with the 03 Murcie. Even so I think its superb value, even if you cost in for a new clutch (6k dealer/4K specialist) then its still a lot of car for the money and will have had everything done. No belts to change, the servicing is usually just oil/all filters/all fluids.

Yellow.

At the end of the day they are still hire cars and you all know the saying about those........

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING goes as fast as a hire car............

I would be very cautious....... You could take the view that they have been driven by wealthy people who tend to treat cars like appliances and who also have no interest in their longevity beyond the weekend they have got them for.

ON THE OTHER HAND they could be like high mileage police cars - over serviced and nicely run in... I shouldn't imagine they have "garage queen" problems, not if my video of Damon driving the Murci is anything to go by...!

In the case of the Murci it should still be under warranty?

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

My old 360 Spider was an ex-P1 car with 36,000 miles on the clock.

Body and interior was mint.

Service book was stamped up fine, and had a list as long as your arm of maintenance.. which I didn't see as a bad thing.. would rather an no-expense spared than one with no maintenance.

It came with a Ferrari warranty and ran without hiccup (shame the same couldn't be said of the dealer !)

Having said that, I paid less than P1 are asking for this one.. and the Spider market has dropped since then too so I think £79 is more realistic.

First and the last ones are the same car, so looks like some haggling would be possible

The red one's LHD so doesn't count.

Yep, my mistake on the LHD car.

The two Grigio Titanio cars are actually different cars, but one "borrowed" the pic from the other dealer AFAIK
