Spring coming a "need" change of wheels -

really love the idea of a 360 spider - will the 430 kill resale values? (certainly don't seen so soft at the moment)

550 - still prefer the 575 -

what are they like to live with?

550 & 575 feel quite grown up - after the turbo romantically charged by the roof-down 360 idea....

any genreal comments & abuse welcomed

(Cannot face the Murcy - too much cash at the mo..... still adore them tho!)

If spring has tempted this change, go topless! The V8 isn't the most torquey in the world though. Nothing compared to a V12.

Tubi'd of course. Not much'd be more fun in the summer...

..except a Tubi'd Murci!!!!! Do it! Do it!

If you're ever down my neck of the woods, give me a shout and I'm sure I could convince you to come to the Dark Side...

Get a 360 Spyder. Although I reckon prices are going to fall sharply after the summer.

There is a Giallo Orion (yellow pearl) with black/yellow interior, 9000miles, sports exhaust and new clutch in this week's Autocar - £127500

Page 27. New BMW 3-Series on the cover.

If you haven't got the mag and want the contact phone number, email me.

Scary.... all far too scary.

getting bids of around £60k for my 30k mile porsche.

40k loss since new :/ (...but 30k miles of fun).

After thought, decided on the spider - ideal car abt 110k - ie. another 50k of capital to invest.

...then assume value will also die over next 2 years.

I just don't have enough pennies in the bank to throw that kind of cash away.

SO..... getting summer "toy" to compliment the Porsche - Elise top of the list so far.... fun (& cheap) for track use too!

I need to start robbing banks and increase disposable cash........

The 02s are meant to be a bit more on the edge than the 04s handliong wise. You can get a new UK spec import for £22,995 so £20k will go a long way second hand. definitely worth a drive. I had an 03 for 6 months before the current NSX arrived and my wife liked it so much I'm buying her a new one for her B-day in April.

If it's a toy your after, stick with an elise. For pure fun, nothing comes close (except perhaps a VX).

Otherwise have u thought about gallardo?

cannot get the Gallardo at all - only one modern Lambo for my garage: Murci.

Don't get an Elise - get a 340R! Totally uncompromised, amazing to drive, and will turn heads faster than a solid gold 360 spider with mink seats. Also hold their money *very* well (now)

Yes. Do not, repeat DO NOT buy a Lotus. I lost more money on varius Lotii than you're 996TT is now reputably worth.

Remember:

Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious

Why not keep the 996TT, or chop in for a Turbo cab?

Also, you don't really need to spend 110k on a Spider. You can get an early LHD for early 60s or an 02 Warrantied RHD for 80. Not a lot more depreciation to bear

No - I am keeping the TT.

Just want something to go with it! Very much want a Spider but not willing to throw 40k away.

Same reason I've not taken the turbo s cab route - cannot face throwing such funds when the it's still a similar car!
