Well, it's been just over a year since I learned of the Ultima. This morning, I informed Ted that I am ready to place my order. I think it's going to be red. Maybe yellow!

Thanks to all that have answered some of my silly questions. It's great to know that there are builders/owners out there willing to help out. Here's one more...

Do you think I should choose another color?

Yellow is sweet
White is clean
Blue is cool
Green is good
Black is bit'chin
Orange is, well, orange!

What color would be the best to paint over, if I were going for a different look?

Thanks,

Yellow is/was my choice.
Any colour will paint over. Because its glass you have to start with an etch primer then normal primer. By the time you get to the top coat the gel colour will be no more. Until the first stone chip that is.

I like yellow, too. I understand about the painting over. Choosing a color is harder than deciding what engine to use.

Yes engine is easy.
You need to look for a powerful one.
If you can't find one of those you'll just have to settle for an even more powerful one.

I think it got to be either red or yellow as they are the 2 best colours for the car, I went with red best colour in my option.

If you plan on painting it pick a color close to the color it will be painted. This way if you get a rock chip through the paint + primer at least the gel coat will somewhat match.

Thanks, guys. As much as I like yellow, blue, black, white, green, and orange, I am going with RED! If I repaint at some point, it will probably be a darker shade of red/burgundy.

This is going to be sweet!!!

I still love blue for the GTR, but it's going to be Red for the Can-Am.

Pagani have got a blue convertible Zonda on their stand at Geneva that's almost the exact same blue as my GTR was. They have taste

Blue is very nice. I was looking at a brassy blue semi-gloss. This first one is going to be the stock color red.
