Talk how you like, but you'll find this Forum isn't like texting - there are no limits. You can use REALLY big long words, and not only that, but people will be able to understand you much easier, and you may then find you receive much more helpful answers. And that's what you are looking for, isn't it?

Don't worry chap, we're not all old stuffed shirts on PH. If you ask a question and I can answer it I will - don't care how it's put down.

It wouldn't have taken our friend much extra time, instead of writing:

Anyone interested in proper motorsport (BRISCA stockcars)? I'd like to know where I could find a 2005 Fixture List. Thank You.

And then people might be more likely to say, why not look here

I personally find reading txt spk very difficult, and lord knows how our foriegn corresponents are meant to understand it. It's nothing to do with being a Stuffed Shirt, but showing a bit of respect to our fellow forum readers by making an effort to communicate to the best of our ability.

Well said.

I hadn't a clue what he was asking
