Same car - save £15,000 on purchase - deep intake of breath when you sell..''ooooh, EU car? £15,000 below UK car price' End of story!

The market for most nice cars is pretty weak at the moment (A Porsche Cayenne saleman offered to drive me to the airport as a test drive when I told him I was going abroad that afternoon! - Nice guy but it's got to be quiet)- so if you are 100% sure its the right car (and trust me it's a belter) - buy it and prepare to have the usual crap when you sell it!

You just have to realise the savings you've made will probably be wiped out when you come to sell.

So like LamboJim said if you buy for 15k below, you will probably have to sell for 15k below. (Unless there is demand when you come to sell, then how much you need to discount varies).

Double check the spec. Warranty info, etc. (As some things can vary if they didnt tick the right options list). And if its the car you want there's no reason not to go for it.

If you sell privately, you may even get the same as a UK car. But worst case that extra 10-15k is in your pocket the whole time, rather then being tied up in a car.

also be aware that eu sourced cars have a shorter warranty than the UK ones ( now extended to 3)and you wont get any goodwill gestures if you get a problem which is a 'grey area' its happened twice on my g, but thankfully all paid for ( the cost to me would have been 4K)

A great car but be advised they have their issues and you WILL need the dealer!

You can buy that extra years warranty though.

And the guy at Lamborghini London (who didn't return my calls, and the resultant delay meant I found the car elsewhere) intimated I may not get the same level of service.

As a result I now service with Modena high wycombe.

And they give me the same treatment as any of their customers.

I've had problems with my dealer. But people have pm'd me they've had the same problems with Lambo london.

Buy from who you want to, "grey areas" for which a precedent has been set are no longer grey areas. If they tell you otherwise, kick up a fuss or go elsewhere.
