depends on whether or not you wish to keep your license;

If yes: comfortably numb a great idea
or REM - Automatic for the people (if its a tiptronic)

If not: the list is endless
lynard skynard - freebird (good for breaking the engine and clutch in as it starts slow)
Aint seen nothin yet (Bachman Turner Overdrive)
Power of Love (Huey Lewis & the News)
Eye of the Tiger (Survivor)

or absolutely anything by ZZTop

Guns and Roses Use Your Illusion 2 always does it for me!
This Album is a Solo Drive MAX Volume intense driving, depends on your taste i suppose.

Craig

Oh forgot Base Tone of a Flat Six Turbo helps.

Just a comment i to dislike some of the motoring programs that use rock tracks to highlight the car when all we really want to hear is the motor. On the other hand some of the cars are so bland they need the music to make them come to life.

I dont believe someone mentioned REM for a porsche! Might be suitable for a volvo! Get 'Songs for the Deaf' by Queens of the Stone Age!

Advice is simple take stereo and speakers bin the bloody lot and enjoy the wonderful flat six noise. Its a car not a lounge for christs sake, and while were on this subject when are the pricks that make motoring programmes going to realise that we dont want the latest supercars glorious multi cylinder creation to be drowned out by some god awful 80's soft rock band!!! Sorry but seriously am i the only one that feels this way? Whatever you choose to do mate enjoy the car!

REM ? Queen? ...i'm surprised nobody's suggested The Quo yet !! Is this an over 30's forum only ;-)

I normally find Sir Cliff does it for me - failing that Linkin Park, but the my personal fav is Zuffenhausen's finest...

Still a big fan of Gatecrasher DiscoTech - and agree with Steve996TT - The Killers "Hot Fuss" album is a stormer... keep the licence though, you can do 150mph so fast it is scary, which is the whole point of course :-)

Good to see that music taste is high up there with taste in cars!

Comfortably numb - Yes, but you'll struggle to keep your hands on the wheel during the guitar solo

The Killers - current fave for my weekly commute.

Linkin Park - Shouty music ideal for the M45

Learning to Fly - Foo Fighters

Chop Suey - System of a Down

Alternatively: no music + windows lowered + heavy right foot = six cylinder symphony

Top choice if it's the live version that I was playing just this morning on my way to work, until I turned it off to listen to the engine!

However, for real aggression may I suggest Breathe by Prodigy and turn it up to 11!

Joe Satrini 'One Big Rush' swiftly followed by 'Satch Boogie'. Awesome!
