Do 10" rear wheels with 285 tyres fit on 98 996?

Not sure what you mean by 10". I have 285 x 30 p zero tyres on 18" Turbo look 2 wheels on the rear of my 996. I think the wheel model and off-set are the key issues.

Basically I want to put Sport Design (GT3 look) wheels onto my '98 996.

They will fit if you have the correct off-set. Note the off-set for the Boxster is not the same as the 996 and Boxster wheels will not fit. Where are you buying them from ?

Not sure where I'm going to get them from yet either Used parts dealer or Ebay/private seller. But I want to make sure they fit before I buy some then find out they I can't return them.
I'm just checking because the Tyre pressure information under the bonnet does not mention 285 tyres just 255 & 265.

If you look at my profile the pic of my car shows 285 p zero tyres. I got the wheel and tyre package from Jasmine (www.jasmine-motorsport.co.uk/) better value than OPC and safer than ebay.
