Hi

A while back, I posted that I was going to be competing in the 750MC Stock Hatch championship. Well, the first 2 rounds took place over the Easter weekend at Snetterton, and I couldn't have asked for a better start! I've written a full race report on my website www.keith.grone.co.uk
My aim for the weekend was to finish the races unscathed, regardless of where I actually came in the race. I managed this and at the same time made up places and achieved a fastest lap in wet conditions.
I have a great deal to learn and I know not all races will go that smoothly, but it has been a very encouraging start!
Round 3 takes place at Brands Hatch (Indy Circuit) on 24th April. I'm especially looking forward to this one because I aleady have some familiarity of the circuit having spent a day testing the car there.

Good work fella... I for one think it is a great championship... 'cheap' motorsport has real appeal. I hope to enter it myself someday if I can get the time and money!!!

does anyone race a Daihatsu Rally2? this has a fab pwr and meets the regs... not sure about the handling tho...

There are no Daihatsu's competing. The only far eastern makes are a couple of Suzuki Swifts. It's predominently French unfortunately! Having said that, 1 of the Suzukis (a group B car) was contesting for the lead in the final race, going up against the lead Saxo, so they don't hang about!

Just a small point but your link includes a dot at the end which makes it fail as a hot link - you may lose a few visitors ...

Good luck with the season - you'll be on some great tracks.

Glad you had a good introduction to racing. Unfortunately my season did not start quite as smoothly as I blew the engine of my F4 car during the test day on the Saturday at Snetterton.
Ho hum, hopefully Brands will be better and I will find out what the new engine is like.
