new mini coopers sport convertible order - advice

Hi Guys / Girls

The Wife has just ordered a new Mini Cooper Sport Convertible in Red.

Is there anything we need to look out for / or are there any deals to be had especially as the dealer states there are no margins to be had ! (is this just sales talk !)

any advice would be gratefully accepted !

that's pretty much the way it is, I couldn't get a penny off, just a tank of petrol!

My local dealer seemed to indicate that the more options were added, the better deal could be had. Not sure whether they were being serious, or just trying to tempt me to remain a MINI owner.

The convertibles are actually appreciating in value at the moment, so its a fairly sound investement even if you pay full list!

The garage for which I work actually had one of the first Cooper S convertibles in the country on their stocklist last year. Came in at £21,500 but it was well-specced. Seeing similar examples going for the same kind of cash with 15k on the clock now - really wish I'd bought the thing when I got first refusal. A years' free motoring sounds oh so sweet now!
