Thinking of buying a mini one. Any idea what the delivery times would be and is there any discount to be had? Also any easy/quick mods you can make? Anything alse i should look out for?

Dunno about delivery and discounts but the only difference between a One and a Cooper engine wise is a software map.

Spec is the thing to watch I think. A basic mini one is very basic, so we added quite a bit to ours.

Didn't go for the Cooper mainly for the cheaper insurance, but it didn't seem that much quicker to drive.

Discounts - rare from what I've heard but it depends what dealer you go to. Some will not discount, but will chuck a load of freebies in, some not do either.

For the money, get a proper mini with a hairy engine, taking of hair, are you a hairdresser?

Mods= Big spokey dokey wheels, clear rear lights, big exhaust backbox, massive sound system. That's about the bog standard.

Seriously, you could get a nice Mk1 mini with a ridiculous engine and still have money for a sensible road car.

Sorry to sound like a tw@ but I miss the point with new minis.
