Alloy Gear Lever Surround for Griff - Getting some made
Discussion
Having found the Leven version is now unobtainable, I've managed to get all the information together to get a small batch made. They will be silver anodised like the Leven ones, and are being made to the same dimensions so should look pretty much identical.
If anyone would like one, please PM me. The price will be £120 + VAT. This is the cost price - I am not making any profit out of this exercise. I am having a batch of six made, two are taken so 4 are available, though I expect I can increase the number if more than 4 people want one - let me know asap.
Please note that you need to drill through the centre console - there is a second plate that goes underneath with tapped inserts in it to clamp the gaiter underneath the console so the screws go all the way through.
Please note these will not fit a Chimaera!

I have the leven version on my recently acquired griff. I want to return it back to standard. Anyone want my old one and haven't tried yet but do the screws go through the original tunnel trim as that could be a problem for me.
I would imagine that the screws go through the fibreglass tunnel, hence a re-trim would be required to put it back to standard. If it was fitted correctly, then the screws shouldn't go through the tunnel, but it will be marked as it is in two parts and clamps the tunnel. You may get the marks out with a hair dryer!! The gater will have holes as the screws go through this.
If you do remove it, don't keep change/keys etc on the tunnel, you'll loose them!!

Took it off and unfortunately when it was originally fitted they put holes in the trim so I will have to keep it now. The gaitor leather also has holes in it. I'm replacing the gaitor as its worn but is it necessary to put holes in the new one??If you do remove it, don't keep change/keys etc on the tunnel, you'll loose them!!
