No spare tyres for the Gransport in the country

So unluckily for me, the Gransport has got a flat. I phone my local Ferrari/Maser dealer, who does not have any spares, gives me the number of their supplier. I phone them, the tyre configuration 265 30 ZR19 Pirelli P Zero Rosso is not even on their Pirelli database. They phone Pirelli and even Pirelli do not have any!!! Amazing. They say no more have been manufactured, I can not believe that though.

So I am stuck with a car that I can not drive as I can not get a spare.

I've berated the dealer and told them to sort it out.

Does any bright spark have an idea where I can get one if even Pirelli in the UK do not have one??????

Can you get a part worn one from somewhere? I think part warns come in from Germany a lot of the time, and I imagine theres a load of Maserati's over there.


The place I used to use a few years back was Bedford Budget Tyres - I think they have a place in Bedford, MK, and Coventry. Part worn is better than nothing

I have been told by 3 dealers that the tyre does not come up on the Pirelli Database and Pirelli does not stock suppliers as they will only sit on the shelves. This tyre is only for the Gransport and nothing else I have been told.

Tell the dealer to give you a loan 4200 while they sort it or tell them to put 4 tyres of a different make on the car.
That might jolt them into finding a tyre and shipping it from Italy!

agreed, thats a ridiculous situation.

Apparently Maserati themselves bought up the stock!!!! So the berated dealer has managed to get one from Maser and hopefully I will get it on the car today.

Here's hoping..... and they can put a new multi-CD player on the car (the original one never worked) and re-do the drivers door interior panel which they fu***d up when replacing the driver door window mechanism!!!!

Probably a bit late now, but for future reference (ie the next puncture ) you could try www.tirerack.com

I've used them before, as have a few chaps I know, and I recommend them.

The tyres you're after are marked as low stock, but at least it appears that they have some!
