Hawthorns Motorsport BMW Z3MCOUPE GT3
Silverstone Britcar 24hr Willhire Race
September 9th/11th 2005

For contact details and pictures go to :

www.hawthornsmotorsport.com

Hawthorns Motorsport run a Z3M Coupe GT3 car in the British GT series and as the cars origins are in 24hr endurance racing it seems quite natural to consider entering the car in the Britcar 24hr Willhire Race. Having successfully entered and completed the 2002 Nurburg, the 2002 Bathhust and the 2003 Bathurst, the car is well suited to the task in hand as well as it’s continuing campaign in British GT Cup Class.

The team is fully supported by it’s preparation team partners, Colin Blower Motorsport, and with their help and advice the car will be fully prepared for the event and as the preparation team have years of expertise behind them of endurance racing, we are expecting a high level of reliability and therefore a fantastic value for money racing experience for the driver involved.

In principal there are four seats available as the cars regular drivers are prepared to stand down as they have an opportunity to race in the Tag Heuer 250 support race to the all new Formula A1 series at Brands Hatch in late September and the budgets won't stretch to both.

The drives will be available to drivers that hold a minimum of a National "B" race licence, and also have the necessary skill levels, budget and physical fitness to support 6 hours of racing each plus testing,(if any included), and qualifying.

The budget required has been set at a competitive level and is an all inclusive figure but is subject to VAT at the standard rate. The seat price will include all race fees, shared motorhome accommodation, meals, and refreshments, the last two items being available for the drivers and up to 3 guests each. It also includes tyres, fuel and parts etc together with insurance, bar an excess payment of £2500.00 which is payable in advance and will be held against any damaged caused by the individual driver. The excess payment is fully re-fundable in the event that the driver has no accident damage claims.

The budget price is £9995.00 plus VAT per seat.

Hawthorns Motorsport can not be held responsible for any failures effecting the cars ability to compete, everything possible will be done to ensure that the car is fully operational but terminal failure of major conponants or accident damage inflicted that is beyond repair will not be accepted in any way as a reason to return part or the whole of a drivers race fee. Race fees are therefore non-refundable.

Cheers all

I thinks it's 2, not sure.

We may have a problem with our prep team for that weekend so depending on the response we get from drivers, we could need a team to run us, prehaps we can chuck in with you guy's, for a suitable fee of course

We can have a chat nearer the time if we get enough drivers.

cheers
