Jamiroquai video

most of you are probably aware that jamiroquais video (probs about 9 years old now) for cosmic girl was shot in andalucia and simply features a ferrari F40 and jay kay's lambo diablo (purple is it a se30 or something, not too familiar with diablos) as well as a gorgeous (and basically the star of the video) F355 in black with the reg M355M (maybe kay's own car?)
anyone know who's F40 was used and the roads used for the shoot?

Don't know about F40 but the blk 355 Challenge car is now owned by Fchatter JRS.

the dialo in the video wasn't jay kays, his had been damage by a delivery driver prior to the video being made. They borrowed an identical one from Lambo UK and then broke the windscreen! you may notice some of the shots feature Jay Kay looking very windswept as they were driving the car with no screen.

Wasnt it one of his mates who totalled it?

I seem to recall that ALL the cars were JK's. The SE30 was driven by one of his mates prior to JK arriving, AGAINST strict instructions. The second SE30 was sourced for the shoot, but I dont believe it was purchased.
I understand that the screen was removed for the filming, not broken as suggested above.
All these are from a "making the video" thing I saw a long long time ago.
Out of interest, I think JK has written a song about his Black Enzo, so I look forward to the video for that

All the cars were in fact his (except the SE30 which was borrowed due to the crash) - I met him once at Lamborghini UK when they were at AFN in Reading - he was picking up the SE30 after a service, to use as his transport for some awards dinner thingy. Seemed like a genuine guy with a passion for cars.

On Q Music (Sky 453) this morning they had a half hour slot for Jamoraquais back catalogue of music/videos. They played Cosmic Girl and the F40 at least in one of the shots was Masons (10/10s) car (NPG).
When the video was originally shot JK was on one of his bans, ironically for speeding in his F40.
His Diablo is still at Cleave Motor Salvage Gloucester as the owner won't strip it or sell it for salvage.
My Friend worked at the Amersham Audi dealer just down the road from JK House and told me about them being out on a test drive in a RS6 Full bore up one of the long straight roads there when JK overtook in his F40 like they were going backwards.

The Lambo was Chris Rea's who gladly donated the car to Jay for blatting around Spain
