Ive got a freind who says he can get a F430 ordered for me with whatever options and colour i want delivered to my door in 4 weeks. Is this a reasonable offer in terms of delivery date coz everyone else so far has given me long waiting lists. plus he says i can get it right hand drive. Hes already served 1 client. Does anyone know where i can get a better deal?

I would imagine if you’re willing to pay significantly over list there are several Ferrari specialists would be able to get hold of one for you. Can’t think of the manes of any off the top of my head though.

Is this LHD or UK spec?

There are very few physical RHD cars in the UK. I'm not sure you can get one at all without paying a massive premium. Joe Macari has just sold a LHD Spider . Premium was rumoured to be £25k.

He says i can get it as i want, right or left hand drive, ill have to wait 2 weeks more for the right hand drive wihich is ok. Its UK spec and specable, i get to chose what extras i want.

If you guys say its a good deal then it must be, youre wrong about the premium, 40k is what they want but to be exclusive you have to pay. But coz he knows the guy well ill get it for around 28k premium

Supposedly theres 'unlimited' supply so if anyones interested i can get you in touch.

Update; Tom Hartley has the only RHD Spider in the UK . He is asking £190k. I'm very interested to know where your contact is sourcing his cars so cheaply...

This sounds a very fast delivery date if you can still put down your spec on it

Was promised an early slot on a 430 with minimal premium. Jumped at the chance, turned out the guy was talking complete bollox and has a history of lying through his teeth at any given opportunity. As long as the premium is low then it's a good deal!

Ferrari main dealers I know of have closed their order books.

3 years with a serious deposit (more than the standard 5k deposit)
P.S Easier to get hold of a DB9 with a far superior customer service (Ferrari take note you arrogant sods)

There are alternatives you know.

No offence but that is complete bollox.

He must be some friend to loose £12,000.

The market for 430's at the moment is purely for speculators. Unless you are a city trader (no offence Tony ) with more money than sense dont bother. You could have a murcielago for the same money.

HHL lives in "londin" and sounds very plausible.

I'm sure he does but therein lies the problem.

If you are willing to pay over £150K for a V8 Ferrari there is something wrong with you (or you earn too much and the value of money is meaningless)

As I have said you could have a low miles Murcielago for the same cash or for a few K more a 612 Scallietti (numerous cars for sale in the Sunday Times for just over £150K and they would snap ypur arm off for cash)

Still F430 is an awesome car so if you think its worth it and can afford it then go for it.

looks like a sales thread to me.

Possibly someone with a car on order feeling for a premium.
