360 test drive tomorrow....help!

Hey guys,
Wondered if I could tap into your knowledge banks for some info on test driving a 360.
I have the drive arranged for tomorrow morning in both a manual and an F1. Just wanted some pointers as to what to look for/listen for.
i currently drive a Schnitzer M3 SMG so I know all about the gearboxes etc and have a reasonable benchmark I think. I know im going to love it, but need to make a decision not based on wild emotion (harder than I reckon it'll be).
also, the dealer is making me source my own insurance cause I'm 23.....is he having me on cause he thinks ill crash?!?!? I must say, PJ Evans' salespeople seem to have gone from arrogant and unhelpful to just plain rude since they acquired their ferrari signs to replace the old porsche stuff.......
Any help you guys could offer me would really really be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Well when I drove the F1 box, I found it to be quite a detached sensation from the Manual. You really do need to be engaging in some serious foot to the floor action to get the best out of the box. You need to use the car a lot for back road driving.
If you are testing it, you should definately try and get an extended drive done - else you won't be able to tell the whole story.

Good luck to you sir, but I wouldn't buy any car, and especially not a exotic one from a rude dealership, there are plenty of 360's out there.
As for the insurance, I've test driven Nobles and Porsches when 23, no problem -personally I think they are taking the piss, but I don't know conclusively. I expect if you are serious about one you could easily find an accomodating dealer.
As for the 'boxes -haven't a clue mate.

I have an M3 SMG and a 360 F1 . The SMG is better in 'normal' driving conditions, but when you get the 360 up to pace and in sport mode, the F1 gear box really is fantastic.
The manual vs F1 box debate will go and go, personally i love flappy padel gearbox's and all i can say is, buy the one you like the most and dont listen to anyone else, including me !

You can buy a Ferrari for < £10,000 - so I stand by my statement.
I suspect where you are coming from is regarding younger owners and higher value F-cars. Whereas 90% of the population would not be in a position to do this, that doesn't mean you have to follow suit and conform to such boundaries. Hard work and determination and I can't see how anybody couldn't get a Ferrari.
Yeah I was talking about the higher value Ferrari's mate. I'd love to not conform to boundaries and go out and buy a Ferrari!
Your car looks stunning by the way, and I'm sure it sounds just as good It's pictures like that, that make me want to go out and work hard for one!

What do guys do? Simple, they do something very very right.
I've heard it said that to achieve, you need to work hard or work smart. Ultimately, you should hope to do both.
Friends of mine who have exotica tend to not be too exotic in other areas of their life - most don't smoke (£5 a packet mounts up), most don't excessively drink (£100+ a night out mounts up) etc etc... They all earn decent money but it all goes on something which is externally very noticable, but few people notice that they don't do other things.
Some of my mates are on silly money but spend it all every month - beer, fags, birds, flats, holidays etc...
For most 'normal' people its all about priorities. Of course there are some lucky (I use the term losely because the only lucky ones I know are the ones who inherited cash but wouldnt have a clue how to make more) buggers who have the right idea, with the right backing and the right expertise at the right time and make tons of money!
Just some thoughts out loud

It used to broker 'sports' deals. Mainly between the US and Europe. Merchandise and TV rights etc. I took a % of the value of the deal to act as a go between. Often became quite scary, especially where the Italians were involved, hot blooded lot.
Not in that now, became very dull and i never liked figures. I now help run the family business's, have my own interests in property, buying flats etc in 'unknown' up and coming countries and city's, (Just bought in Krakow and Warsaw). I also have 2 internet business's coming out soon, one which will hopefully go round the world, both very unique and new. mums the word though at the moment.
I would never have got insured on a 360 at 24 though if it hadn't been for the business my father gave to the insurance company.
A tip, erm, i think if you genuinly enjoy your work, your more likely to succed. Thats why i quit the sports world, didnt enjoy it anymore. Made the right move.
