well another race another podium for team LNT with them coming third in GT2 in the FIA GT race at silverstone today!!

this must be one of the most succesful sportscar racing teams so far this year

- raced in four different championships (ALMS, FIA GT, LMES, Brit GT)
- podiumed in three of them (win in LMES, podium today in FIA GT's and in Brit GT)

is there any other teams that have raced in as many championships?

fantstic effort, they've made a huge difference developing that car. hopefully tvr will get around to building some new ones. This was the first gt race i've been to since the old shorty v. parr 911 days. took the girls (ages 5 and 19 months) and they loved it too.

Was a good show by LNT. They have done a great job getting the car up to a good race (porche bashing) speed

ITs looking a bit lackingin the sponsorship stakes...

Hopefully this success will translate into some more....

I think it is great, everything the factory should have done but didn't have the budget IMHO.
Hopefully we will see the full potential of the T400 in its current guise this season. Hats off and a 'big up' to LNT, long may the marriage continue .

Gcerbera you are of member of DSC aren't you? have you read this months Le Mans and racing magazine with the spa 1000 report? even the french seem to wonder what the hell the ACO were thinking not letting LNT in!!!!

On another point: does anyone know what TVR's plans are on building T400's as im sure it would help GT teams on the international stage?

Indeed I am and rather excellent DSC is.

Not seen the article, is this the French magazine or is there an English version now?

Just noticed today that two T400R's are still for sale....

With regard to penalties - in FIA and British GT the TVRs run without penalties, but in ACO/LMES spec they still have some restrictor and weight penalties. There are differences in the homologation rules for each series.

The TVR should really run in the G2 class with the Mosler/Vertigo in the FIA series, so it's odd that they're in GT2 - there are more Moslers than T400Rs in both road and race spec.

As for extra T400R production, who knows... The guy that designed the chassis/suspension left TVR earlier this year and, as he was also in charge or road car development, I'm not sure what the situation is on that side of things now.
