Have an order for f430 currently. Looks lovely in the flesh courtesy of Gumball. But personally I like track honed road machines as a rule, hence GT3 and M12. Will the 430 be that or should I look at shifting to a Challenge Stradale?

I am in no rush.

Thanks

Well I was wondering how long the 360 Challenge series was going to run for, last year this year?

Then you could get yourself a nice 430 Challenge car, mmmm!

Just I like it on the road too. Sorry should have been clearer, basically is the 430 a 'performance' road car, or a track focussed road car?

Everyone who's driven it seems to say the 430 is a Challenge Stradale with a comfort pack...

Spec it with the bucket seats and steel discs (i know CS has ceramics, but I wouldn't fancy replacing them) and I can't see a reason why it wouldn't handle very much like a Stradale.

And the switch on the steering wheel makes it perfect for track surely...

See the Plato video for confirmation

Diesel 306 mit drainpipe exhaust and Saxo VTR are an integral part of any dream garage. Excuse my being coy about other matters!

I understand the 430 will be very good on track. Like the 360 before it, but the 360 was not focussed that way, and I worry that the 430 in its initial guise will not be either, not to say it wont be fast/capable thereupon.

ie of the 360 range I would want the CS, will this mean I would want the 430CS, or can the 430 bridge the modena-CS gap?

Surely the bigger question is whether its economically viable, as its likely to be reasonably capable?

Quite right, asking more out of interest than anything.

Aparently it doesn't handle like the 360CS, it's a lot, lot better...
