OPC's (am i thick)
Discussion
Just had a call from an OPC where the car is in for service.
"Good evening Mr Rods everything is ok on your car, however we have noticed that you need new tyres all round"
Me"yes i noticed they were getting quite worn, could you tell me how much please"
OPC"with discount £890"
Me"i normally pay £620ish"
OPC "Really, hmm how does £810 sound"
Who do they think i am,to$$ers.

I have found you have to resort to lots of swearing to sort them out when they try to de-mast your britches.
Plus telling them you are going to send a letter to Andy Moss (or Goss?) helps too....mind you by the way most of the OPC’s carry on, the P-GB chief chap may as well be an off spring from the heady days of Bros.

Dunno why this surprised anyone. All official dealers play this game. I just politely decline in these circumstances. Most people don't though, which is why they can get away with it.
Personally I find 220 for a wheel alignment pretty shocking unless they are having to do something odd. I've always had 'hunter' alignments done for 100ish.
