Hi

Does anybody have any telephone numbers that I could try.

Someone has just smashed the wing mirror off my Cayenne. The mechanism is ok - just the mirror/glass is broken.

Porsche are quoting an unbelievable £271 (plus fitting) for it.

I know main dealers stitch us up whenever possible - but this is taking the p---.

Any numbers much appreciated

I had a similar problem with my HSV. Being a stingy bugger I made a template up and had a piece of mirror cut to suit and glued it in. Maybe not up to Porsche standards but it will get you going.

Happened to me last year with cayenne..had to bite the bullit and pay 220 for the glass........outrageous!

Complete shot in the dark but does the Touareg share the same mirrors as the KN?

If so VW parts are usually cheaper that Porsche.
