As posted on ITV F1 website:

"Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner indicated at the Nurburgring that he sees David Coulthard as one of the team's key assets.

"The way things are going at the moment there is no reason why we would want to change," he said.

"He has been doing an excellent job and he brings a stability and great experience to the team."

Is this like the football team chairman saying that he has every confidence in his manager? We all know what usually follows!

Mind you, DC did look as though he was giving it a lot of welly at Silverstone in Friday with a few nice slides through the Luffield complex :hehe:

I think he has impressed a lot of people this season now he has escaped the PR-babble of McLaren and moved to a team where he is the driving focal point.

Quite. If someone had told me this time last year that DC would be equal with Rubens and just one point behind Schumi this year with Jaguar, I don't think I'd have believed them some how.

I still can't believe it.

Don't think he'll EVER be one of the "greats".
But at least he's showing some feisty character now, god, he might start smoking Marlborough's next.........
