I'd have to spend the saving on therapy. That's Gopping.

Years ago I had this very rude and arrogant Portuguese man come in, asking about the best deal that we had currently, he wasn't being specific on what he wanted, he just wanted to know "the best deal".

I attempted to qualify him by asking the obvious questions; size of car, petrol or diesel, manual or automatic, how many doors, what equipment etc however he kept on interrupting me by saying "I just want the best deal".

He was quite shouty and direct, after a few attempts of myself trying to qualify him he said to me "perhaps if I spoke in Portuguese you would understand better ehh?"

I responded with "we can do 38% off a Master Tipper, there you are, that's is the the best deal", he walked out muttering something under his breath!!

I don;t know about gopping, but it is bizarre.

Like the result of a one night stand between a 3 series and a Kia Ceed.

Saloon is a bit, erm, challenging but the hatchback and estate look alright to me. Nothing offensive but hardly dynamic.

Interiors are a bit so-so but a new, fully warranted family car for £10k? It’s not a bad shout for someone who just wants white goods transport. Wonder how they compare to Dacia for an equivalent car?

If they are £9995 new then imagine how little you'll have to pay for a 6 or 12 month old example when they become available*

  • usually with a smidge under 13000 miles and registered to a company called ERAC "Er, yeah it's a computer firm I think. It was a manager's car and he left the company" "The green E sticker on the back? It's the Eco model, much better mpg"
Funny how FIAT perservere with distress marketing this kind of car. Remember the Tempra and Marea? Presumably there's method in the madness.

ETA I can't find these listed on FIAT's new car website, neither can I find any older than pre-reg. Maybe this is the greatest ever misbuild?!! smile

"Ay Gino, dov'e sono le mie hatchbacks? Questa e una berlina, stupido! "
