Search finding no results

Thinking I've read a book before I figured I'd see if I'd posted it in the "what are you reading?" thread. I searched for "thunderstorms", and it found nothing. I searched for "Boyd", and it found nothing. Possibly not posted about it. Then I searched for "Firenza", which I have definitely mentioned at least once, and it finds nothing for that either.

The search function has never worked properly and never will do, so you have to do the following on Google:

boyd book site: pistonheads.com

Just remove the space after the colon

I know the search function has never been great, and has some interesting choices on how best to present the results, but it has worked for me in the past without much trouble. I suspect there's something different going on in that it now refuses to find any pages at all for some very simple searches.

But thanks for the google tip, I'll have a go at that.

ETA - in any case, it seems to be back now. Now, if only it would link to the actual page of the thread I'm looking for, rather than linking to the start, it would be useful.

Yes sorry guys, the on site search function isn't at it's best at the moment.

Our advice would be to use the site: pistonheads.com (without the space) search on google!
