It's early I know but we need some optimism and I'm sat out in a hammock and I don't even need a jumper.

So tonight I'll spatchcock a chicken and BBQ it with some trimmings from the ape trees for flavour. lickbeer And then do some stargazing with the kids.

I just built a double-height sandcastle in my daughter's sandpit during a coffee break from work.

She of course promptly knocked it over with a spade.. but it was a fine structure while it lasted

I'm trying to build an outdoor BBQ area (was in the plan from last year) - am hoping the materials I need will still get here in time for me to be ready for the core of Summer! Ordered some time ago but the scheduled delivery missed the impact of the lockdown by 24 hours grrr...

We had a small (just the four of us) BBQ at lunchtime yesterday. A bottle of beer and a lamb kebab in the sun (freezer find) is a rare treat outside in March!

Just had a Zoom 'party' for a mate's birthday. Bunch of us in separate locations having beers and chatting. Would have preferred a pub, but needs must.

It's still possible to get together for a pint! smile
