I've got a '95 Griff 500. Can anybody recommend a good garage in the area that is able to service and repair Griff's?

Mine's going in to Joospeed at the weekend to sort out some snagging - best bit is I'm taking overalls and butties and I get to join in!

He was recommended to me by a couple of people who said he looks after the cars as if they're his own, and he's already been a star talking through stuff on the phone. Book early to avoid disappointment, I'd say!

I would appreciate your views after having your cars in at Joospeed as it sounds promising. Chesterfield is about 2 hours or so from where I live.

Just collected my Tuscan from TVR in Blackpool and it's running much better than before. And they fixed all the niggles.

They even phoned me during the service to let me know everything was ok and answered all the questions and concerns I had. They definately know how to treat their customers right.

Now that you've driven my Cavalier would you like to change anything you've written here ?????

Yep (the first bit not for your benefit Joolz). I'd say the service was great - everything I had a problem with was sorted, had a constructive, intelligent conversation about what further work I might want done on the car. The rates were very reasonable for the work done, but more than that the value added by dealing with someone who has a real passion for his work is worth the journey (about an hour and a half for me) and the cost.

Oh, and there were plenty of people dropping in and out during the day with some fantastic cars, so plenty of entertainment.

On the other hand, if you are foolish enough to offer to take Joolz' Cavalier to run another customer to the station while he's working on your car, be sure that you understand what you're taking on.....
