Tyres, but with a twist
Discussion
Right, decisions, decisions, I can get hold of a pair of rear SO2's for my standard Chimaera, the fronts still have a fair few thousand miles left in them, now knowing that SO2's are out of production, and when I come to replace the fronts they will no doubt be SO3's do I buy SO3's now for the back or grab the last 2 SO2's?
Since Bridgestone think SO3s are an advance on SO2s and many TVR owners also now use SO3s with good results then I personally would got for SO3s.
However, if you're completely happy with the ride/grip/feel of SO2s then get them. However, I have noticed there are different flavours of SO2 for different manufacturers (on a screen a local tyre dealer - one SKU had Alfa Romeo next to it for instance). I don't know if this means the tyres are any different in their behaviour, but it might be worth checking.
