Pimp My Ride Sunday Night with Maserati 3200
Discussion
I am becoming increasingly concerned about the amount of positive reports being written about the 3200.
In fact, I have done a bit of my own research, but it is now becoming almost unbearable.
To be honest, it's now at the point that I am seriously considering getting one. The dark blue ones in the classifieds section look particularly tasty.
Just one question: Can two real human beings fit in the back seats, or are they just little stools of the 911 variety?

The back seats can hold two grown adults no problems.
I looked at the TVR Cerbera prior to buying the 3200 which is a 2+2 but the back seats appeared to be more suited to children upto the age of about 8. So the 3200 was more suited in this case.

I am slightly large and people with wafer thin lower legs only can sit behind me.
And short thighs.
Hmm, that should be OK - How tall are you? I'm 6'1".
I'm still trying desparately hard to persuade myself that it's a daft idea, and like all Italian cars it will break down all the time. But as I also own a Lancia Delta Integrale and Alfa Romeo 147, both very reliable, I can see myself losing that argument, too...
I'm 6'1" or 6'2" depending on wind direction and I can fit 2 full grown rugby players in the back. Ok I compromise a little on my ideal seating position, but kids are no issue...
I would recommend red - everyone has blue or silver sgt have a very nice one (that was mine) in rosso mondiale - will be fully warrantied and I've spared no expense on her the last two years and it is one of the last into the country (02 model). You'll save a packet over a proper dealer and you'll get an identical warranty (alfa dealer) to one from Maserati anyway. Go on - they're awesome. 170mph for 28k or thereabouts can't be overlooked... Plus it's soo damn good looking. Other 02 cars are going for over 30k...
I just needed a convertible and couldn't wait to sell the 3200 privately so took a spanking on the trade in, but I did get the perfect spec Morgan so I'm still smiling though the (financial) pain of it all...
See details on mine on the ph classifieds then ring Julian at sgt and save a wad
(sorry Daz I'll stop the blatant sales technique now I promise!! )

I'm 6ft3, 16stone and have sat in the back of Rich's Maser for at least an hour journey before.
No problems. I'd even go as far as saying the back seats are more comfortable than the front!
