For an average mileage 99/00 model (circa 23k GBP);
service costs, tyre costs, service intervals?

And, how loud is the standard exhaust and how much would a Tubi be?

I'de have sold you my 02 for 26k with 2k's worth of tubi on it! It's gone into the trade now but like all on here I would look for the latest car you can afford.

As long as it's got a warranty on it you've got as much cover buying privately as you ahve buying from a dealer.

re exhausts :

Tubi - seem to be 'brand leader' but costly - fully fitted you're looking around 1600quid.

Quicksilver / Larini etc - all seem decent and cost less that Tubi. Personally I think Tubi looks best though!

Verdi are now stocking exhausts from several manufacturers not just Tubi - I'd give them a call and get some costings...
