Definately, prices seem to be £55K-£60K but rhd's are only £60K upwards, I dont think the gap is enough incentive to buy lhd (unless you actually need one). Theres a 2000 on the trader for £51,995 (dont nkow it's details) but £10K difference sounds more like it for lhd.

Whatever one you buy, make sure it's been looked after and everything needed to be done has been done.

Earlier LHD cars are hitting the low to mid 50's, make sure these ones (and RHD ones for that matter) have had all the recalls done and any early niggles sorted out. Think there's a list on FCHAT.

Anyway, for mid 50's you're getting a hell of a lot of car.....BTW, there's a nice, well looked after 2001 model for sale in the ads

Also, make sure the car has the right seats

and don't forget, the 360 was buildt as a LHD. There IS a difference when driving both..

Whatever you do - stick a tubi on it :hehe;

Service is not every 6K as is the case with TVR.
Depends how much you do per year. I do 10,000 miles every year in mine and it has a service once a year or just under. You need to allow for around £3K running costs per year not including insurance.
That's for service, pads, discs, tyres and wear and tear. Obviously this depends on how many miles you do as well.. You will not be able to run it on the same budget as a 996.
Having said that - in my humble opinion it IS twice as much fun

Too true B....Anyone going into this on a tight budget will have their experience of ownership trashed unless they wish to do a couple k a year in it and spend the rest of the time just looking at it!

The more you drive it the better the car becomes but wear and tear items will add up...Brakes, Tyres, Clutches, Services, Belt changes, Wheel refurbs, Stone chip removals etc etc...

Find a good independant Ferrari shop who will do a much better job than the main guys and won't hurt your wallet as much.

Now that these cars are coming down in price, it will be interesting to see how many people will get a bargain then realise they can't afford to run it properly...Reckon there'll be some sh!te examples out there soon.

There was another thread on here a little while ago re LHD Ferrari's...Most people who I've spoken to in the business say the Italian/LHD machines seem to be better and quicker and the car suits the LHD position more than RHD ones.....Oh and a Silver F1 Italian/LHD with Bordeaux and a Tubi is the best combo to have

In the words of one Tiff Nedell on his first test drive: Hard Top, Manual, Red

Oh, and carbon buckets of course

Very decent left hooker on here, asking £51995.
