Its fair enough to say that the car needs no introduction, but surely people who are going to spend half a mill on a car are going to want to know if its in top nick etc or not. Theres just no info. Also, seems a bit odd to start bidding at only a quid. Is this for real, or am I missing something?! (Not that I have even remotely enough money to bid mind you.)

well it's 250K now
Maybe there aren't too many details as the seller is expecting serious bidders to contact him for all of the info - it wouldn't be hard to trace the car and find out its condition and history etc.
You would have thought that ebay would be aware of this sale and would have checked that it isn't a scam .... in any case how would the scam work, as I guess you'd have to see the car etc and aren't going to transfer that kind of money for a car you've not seen ........
However the buyer seems a bit unreliable, the seller has no feedback, and it does seem odd .... I can't see a serious buyer going near it, surely alarm bells would ring....

it really is weird. If the whole thing is a set up they've gone to extraordinary lengths to cerate a whole load of fake bidders over several years (which in itself would be a good scam). I find it very hard to believe that 'rebecca1234's first and opening bid was for a mere 1.1 million...do me a favour! but she seems to have loads of positive feedback.
very odd indeed
