Allo all

Due to redundancy im considering selling the following number plate: -

SX51 TVR

Any ideas roughly what its worth?

Secretly I'm hoping it's not worth much so i'll have to keep it and buy a Cerbera....... when im a bit better off!

Funny how much these plates are when you want to buy, yet so little when you want to sell. A normal (ie old system) TVR plate is usually about £950 to buy - but the selling price depends on how badly someone wants to buy it, which is usually 'not that much'. Add to this the hassle of paperwork, transfer fees, other fees, exchanging tax disks and possibly being summoned to the DoT office for a chassis number check, and it's not worth it. IMO.

Keep it.

Redundancy or not your not going to get many mortgage payments for the plate, ride the storm out and slap it on the Cerbera when the sun comes back out good luck

Thanks guys, youve done enough to convince me to wait for the Cerbera!

I'll see you when I've got enough wedge to upgrade from the Scooby!
