Tempted by the Tubi, but I think I'll wait to hear one before buying.
Oh man just buy a tubi! You won't regret it
Went in Mr_Tony's car before LeMans and it sounded pretty nice.
Then at a petrol station in France he pulled in and WOW everyone was impressed with the improvement.
Do it!
A Pioneer DEH-P70BT would be a good start HERE: www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4363&cadid=7919fa795993c2e2da22f4fced801a42|www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4363&cadid=7919fa795993c2e2da22f4fced801a42
(BTW, I can't recommend Car Audio Direct enough. I've nothing more to do with them other than a very satisfied customer)
We've fitted one to our 3200GT, and it's a cracking unit. Has Bluetooth connectivity enabling you to use your (Bluetooth, obviously) phone handsfree, with the voice comming through the speakers. Saves you messing about (i.e. faffing about with wiring, holders, screws etc) fitting a "proper" handsfree kit. The only "bit" you have to do is fit the microphone, which is easy enough; you just tuck the (thin) wire underneath the A-pillar trim and clip the mic' somewhere.
'tis easy to use, although I'll confess the main control feels a tad flimsy and the blue buttons and graphics (the latter of which you can disable...mostly) can annoy. Comes with a small remote you clip to the steering wheel enabling you do the basics (mode, answer/hang-up call, volume etc etc)
SQ seems good through the stock speakers too. It's also ready for iPod (needs one extra bit) if that matters.

Pete (maserati3220GT) has done this. Personally I think the becker head is ok - probably a speaker upgrade would make the greatest difference.
Best Audio upgrade though it a Tubi exhaust! Then you can bin the stereo and wind the windows down instead for beautiful music
Hi Rich,
Yep I went for an upgrade and I do not regret it at all!
See Pic :

I had a custom Install so the Speakers fitted behind original Grills except in the Doors but the Apline Speakers look better (IMO) than original Maser Grills.
I didnt bother with the amp as the Head unit powers the Speakers perfectly.
My Rear Speakers are "Type R's" and I also had some Sound Deadening Installed.
Oh the other thing is that upon changing the Head unit I had to change to CD Changer to be compatible with the new unit.
Overall I am very very happy with the unit and In a way its quite a "Retro" looking piece of Equipment.
But the way the Head Unit looks is very much an individual opinion.
Re : Exhausts - I went for the Larini Rich - Very Happy with it as well - still trying to figure out tape to pc transfer then the clips will be on my profile (eventually)

On A seperate note : Rich The Pic of the New Ride on your Profile is stunning !
Great Car , Sorry to see you swapping the Maser but what a car to change to !

Sounds like a fine install - love the look fo the unit - it really suits the 3200 interior I think!
Planning to get a decent audio install done on the Morgan next - need some rear speakers as with the roof down you can't hear diddly squat at the moment - the current speakers are by your shins!
Thanks for the kind comments on the Morgan.
HAve to get this meet on the 17th together that DavidA keeps mentioning - it would be very impressive to see a big lineup of 3200s / 4200s QP's and not to mention a few faces from this forum together

Did you stick with rears and doors or go with front components?
