What is the little green and red light on the dash, below and to the right of the rev counter?

Never noticed it before and it was flashing on me this morning. Manual at home so can't look it up. Parked for the day, can I drive home ?

The most amazing thing is that yours sounds like it works! Usually they tell you is 30 below zero when you're basking in sunshine.

Seriously though they do have a habit of failing in open circuit and staying red when the temp is well up.

I must admit to being somewhat shocked. Checked Oil pressure, checked Temp, checked clutch pressure, checked brakes, even popped open the bonnet in the Gatwick MultiStory to look for leaks or steamlike stuff.....

God, I feel soooooo stoopid.....

Yep mine stays red... think it wins the prize for the most useless piece of kit on a TVR, that along with the button that switches off all the dial lights (well on my Griffith anyway). Very handy, not!

Dial light switch is great! Fantastic to blat down un lit country roads with the dial lights off, much easier to focus

pull off the remains of the detector (it should be dangling in front of the radiator)and short the wires together, this'll get rid of the permanent red light
You can use the inst light switch for a manual fan override....which is nice

Found out this morning that I have a working ice detector! What proportion of them go wrong I wonder?

Do like the button to switch off the dash lights - great for caning it round the countryside at night.
