With all due respect tivhead, if this was going to bother you, why didn't you look into it prior to purchase.

Sorry to add to you negativity.

PS is there anything actually wrong with the car??

Chill out tivhead. Whilst that ain't good customer service, if the car is ok now why stress yourself about its past?

It has Rob Ingleby's vote, phone him up before you sell.

Gentle, constant presure on the factory, perhaps something in writing - camel and straws eh, might work?

A thought, perhaps the factory has forgotten what it did ...

Or lost the paperwork.

No excuse for the 'service' though - keep trying, good luck..

So Tivhead, does the car have a stamped up service history? Or have you bought a car with no service history and you are trying to get copies from TVR, so that your car will then have a service history?

Tivhead - WTF is with the attitude?

People are always happy to try and offer advice - and sometimes seek clarification of points, such as TVRinBFG did.

Maybe a little bit of common courtesy wouldn't go amiss?

I was going to post a constructive point, but given your dismissive attitude towards people who try and help, I no longer feel inclinded to offer that help or support.

That "woman" happend to be my Mother. I have just spoken to her to clarify this situation.

TVR will not release any details of warranty work done on "their" cars. That is company policy.

If you don't like it - go and do what you said and buy a Porsche they will do exactly the same.

You will have access to Service Records just not Warranty Work.

Claire

Mum also said if you were worried about the car when you next take it for a service at an Authorised dealers they would check it over etc
but you wernt going to take it to one so there is nothing else the factory/Mum can do.
