It seems that after experiencing some bad customer service, I went off one one and offended a whole bunch of people.

I don't appologise for the fact that I was pissed. But I do appologise for the way I went about spewing it all out on here.

Hope my humble appologies are accepted.

Regards

Tiv

Bad day was it Tivhead? Never mind, we all get them.
Impressed that you had the balls to make apologies.
You are forgiven my son.
Say 3 Hail Cerberas and we'll say no more about it.

Thanks Andy. Yes, very bad day/week.

May have the balls to appologise, but sadly not the brains to keep my gob shut when I'm angry.

Go figure.....

Mate, don't worry about it.
You should see what's been unfolding at work.

We have just updated the website for the company. We, the tech dept are at the best of times a little cavalier for the rest of the company.
We run Unreal tournament on three servers and have a forum so that kids can throw jelly at each other whilst playing. www.team59.com
There's also a more austere organ we use to answer general questions about Postprodction. www.postanswers.com
And a general site, www.59tv.com which we use to document anything the company and associates are doing (cannes etc)
Unfortunately a link on the main site for the Team59 site was found by one of our employees and they promptly mailed everyone their dismay. Suddenly (a bit like this forum) everyone else frantically jumped the communal bandwaggon saying things like 'oh my god, my kids could see this' and 'I for one wish to be completly dissasociated' 'any reference to films or fiftynine MUST be removed' - anyway 60 people all wanting the techs' nads swining from the aircon in reception.
Jeez, never known one line of code to cause SOOOOO much agro (well not since I wrote stuff for AMS-Neve anyway).

I've never laughed so much!!! (well OK, I laugh a bit at PH of course..)

Life too short mate...

Edited to say - try to keep the trolling to a minimum in postanswers please!!

Nope, much later than 1548, this would have been '92 to 2000 IIRC.
Worked in R&D, ended up designing the software for the DFC

It was.

We took the Logic2 and put coloured buttons on it.

Oh and had to rewrite the automation engine (Encore) and rework most of the OCCAM stuff to accomodate the bigger numbers and faster technology and stuff for the new architecture (ESP, XSP etc) and made the landing platform bigger so we could land helecopters on it.

Guess it kind of reached where it needed to go..

We did about two years developement using MIPS and firewire to replace the transputers, which is where it all got a bit ugly so I walked...
