Just got back from vw,nice cars on show loved the ultimas especially the black one.Didnt see a noble though At last saw the guru himself ted. Shame the weather didnt hold up but you cant have everything, cant see why there cant be a annual pistonheads show say at the N.E.C im sure there would be enough intrest and with a diverse range of cars that members have here im sure it would be a good show

Thanks for a fun afternoon! Sorry about the weather, but it was good to say hi to so many of you and see some beautiful cars. I'm just glad I can't be tempted by the Diablo 'cos it won't fit in my garage...
See you at the next one!
I'll just rebuild the garage or leave it under the car port!

Had a great time, and the weather gave us an excuse to sit in the pub & enjoy some good food.
Thanks to everyone who met up at Clacketts services, the convoy to VW was great fun..I think I counted @ 9 TVR's, 2 Porsches & a Jag XK8. I love the look on peoples faces when a convoy goes past, we even got a round of applause from the passengers standing by their broken down minibus. I even managed to upset (& I mean raelly upset) an Audi S4 driver..tee hee.
See you all soon

Thanks for organising this Steve. The weather was poor but the atmosphere was as warm as ever and it was good to see friends again. Enjoyed meeting the Ultima crew (thanks Guy)- these cars are sensational and don't know why, but the drivers reminded me of pilots waiting for the signal to scramble.
Having the family in tow put paid to taking anyone out for a spin, but next time... (esp Trackdemon). It can be a bit of a strain making sure your offspring hasn't taken to someones car with a stick. So if I had to rush off mid sentence- sorry, the consequences just don't bear thinking about.
Here's to the next (indoor!) one.

Is it me or does the second Cerbera have a 'special' number plate?
Can assure you the second Cerbera is standard, although if my plate looks that with a flash maybe I wont need to do 170 through speed cameras not to be caught
I had a fab day
