Apparently they've used a Tuscan R to findout what speed you need to blatt past a speed camera and not be in the second photo - 174!!!
Don't know when it's shown though.
cheers Al.

Great improvement on other motoring programs. Really enjoyable content apart from the "I'm a granny and I want to do a doughnut" - smacks of Drivel's MotorSumo.

Nice PR for the Tuscan.

Sunday evenings will never be the same again! (in Clarkson style!)

Tuscan S as it turned out, in fact - the black press car that's done the rounds for a while now I think. Tuscan R would have been even better promo, though!! New TG could be worth watching I reckon.

A real shot in the arm compared to channel fours' drivel and 5th gear.

Glad to see our Jeremys not deserting TVR.

Best quote of the show
'The MX5 is for girls or men who like ABBA'

thank God at last he's back, drivel will not last. Nice to see they changed it abit but Mr C was the same. Tuscan S did the job, agree Tuscan R would of been better but perhaps there still is only the one built!! Tune in next week.

what the hell happened to make these car shows with audience participation?
this is clarkson's talk show dedicated to cars.
at least as long as he sticks with tvr that's alright by me!

It gave the impression that the main part of the show was live and not pre-recorded.
It was more like a motoring magazine.
Good it was 1 hour long.

TG is welcome respite from 'Drivel'. 1 hour long - Lambo, Pagani, TVR - much better than Drivel's "How many knackered cars can you buy for £300". Tuscan and Tamora both made an appearance - bravo! Vote with the remote.

My thoughts are it was okay, but could have been shorter, it felt like to much filler and not enough cars, some nice cars, but the production felt a bit cheep.

My other half said it was "crap crap crap and boring, the old Top Gear was much better, their was more cars and better music".

Guess we need to see how it improves.

I have to admit that I nearly switched over a couple of times. Definately too much filler and not enough cars.

The good bits were excellent. The not so good bits were pretty bad.

It was a cross between TG, Clarkson and the series where he destroyed bad cars. Not what I want from a car program.

Top Gear.....or was it the Clarkson spouts the same old biggoted nonsense to a captive studio audience with a few cars thrown in.

Not forgetting to chuck in the odd celebrity for good measures...

Total crud which undoubtedly I wll watch in the vain hope that they may do something about a car I like or want to know about. I didn't make it to the end of the programme as I was beginning to feel the urge to kick his teeth down his throat and that would spelt the end of the widescreen telly, as it wasn't mine I restrained myself and put a DVD on instead.

You see I have a distinct problem with Clarkson for 2 reasons....

1 - I grew up in Norfolk which is the butt of many of his jokes.

2 - I drive a TVR who he gives a decidely inconsistent press to.

Saw him at Donington for the last round of the Tuscans and was just about to challenge him on a couple of issues when I realised he was with his children or someone elses...so withheld myself.

I quite enjoyed TopGear, well the Zonda/Lambo thing and the speed camera bit but agree they could have done without Harry Enfield though.

It's 5th Gear this evening, last weeks was quite good so we'll see how tonight's compares.

I was a big fan of HE 10 years ago, Stavros, Load's'a'money, now you don't want to do that etc. smashing stuff. But is just me or has he lost it? I watched 15 min's of that rock star thing and turned it off. Rich...

Great to see the Tuscan S in action but did anyone notice those rear cans? Not the standard looked a bit bigger and had a smoked finish or was i mistaken?

I was at Hexham Horseless Carriage at the weekend and they had those new cans on a Tuscan.Apparently you can have the satin finish or with a blue/red/yellow tint which looks like a heat discoloured chrome exhaust.
