Hi all,

this must have been a great event and being the owner of an original US spec '86 280i S2 I wish I could have joined, with or even without my car.
Great photos too by the way.
Thanks for sharing this event with us.

Love the Louisiana "Speed Matters" cop!

I'll just nip outside and see if I can find one of Thames Valley's finest to pose for a nice UK-equivalent for us!

As for me, the cop looks a bit helpless with the sticker in his hands, a bit like "If the Sheriff sees this I'm surely gonna get shot instantly" The whole event looks like top ace, though.

I did take some pics of his car with some stickers on it as well, but they never came out as it was dark and the reflective declas on the car made for too much glare...

Woodwork is always a good event, worth a visit as part of a longer stay in the US.

Thanks to Colin for posting the pics from Woodwork 2002
and thanks to all the rest of the UK crowd and Henry
Hansen from Norway who traveled so far to attend the event. For those of you who haven't been, start planning to attend next year as the crowd will most
certainly be larger next year than this, as long as we don't have a repeat of the weather from 2002. Colin
says he brought the remnants of the hurricane with him
from Louisiana!!!
