A Sunday Service north of Watford Gap is a rare occasion, so we’re excited to be heading up north to our inaugural Sunday Service at The Motorist near Leeds. We have space for 1,000 cars from 10:00 – 13:00 on Sunday 7 May, with the ‘most exciting automotive venue in the north’ open until 16:00 for those of you that wish to make a full day of it.

Based in Sherburn in Elmet, The Motorist is a unique venue for car enthusiasts to meet, savour great cars and food, surrounded by fantastic driving roads. Sounds like a recipe for motoring perfection to us. With an on-site garage, body shop and restaurant, you’ve got to check out the video on their homepage to see how amazing this venue is.

One can only begin to imagine the chaos that the place will be in. They can’t handle a ‘normal’ Sunday turnout from my personal experience.

Make sure you take a tent and book Monday off work 😂

I’d imagine much better than the big car scenes that attract a younger crowd.

Ben, will entry be reserved for PH sign ups or will it be open? I’ve been asked to park in the aero club before rather than head into the motorists car park and the grassy area behind.

I'll confirm with them, they may carve out an area if they have regulars and have a dedicated area for us and those with a PH pass.

I've just signed up. Never been to a PHSS before but I've been to the Motorist a few times. Hoping for nice weather for the day itself and week leading up to it so we don't end up with cars stuck in the muddy fields!

Absolutely! A genuinely great car for the money, I'm really enjoying it.

We try our best to avoid clashing with other events but it's very tricky and almost inevitable that there'll be something else going on the same weekend. Clearly HRH didn't check our calendar when scheduling his coronation...
