German newspaper Bild is claiming that Ferrari and McLaren have signed a pre contract deal to swap Michael and Kimi for 2007.

Possible - both are out of contract at the end of 2006 but I still feel this is a Briatore/Todt/Weber smokescreen

I know Kimi makes Mika Hakkinen look like a stand up comdedian, but I just can't see Ron giving him up like that - future world champ. If not this season, maybe next. And why would Kimi want to drive the pile of **** that the Ferrari currently is, especially as the "dream team" will break at the end of 2006. The only angle it works from is to the likely benefit of the square headed one.

At the end of 2006 both drivers will be out of contract, so neither team would be in a position to do a swap. Only the drivers could agree deals for themselves.

Could be the silly season. 2007's Ferrari driver pairing reported to be Kimi and Valentino Rossi on one website today.

Kimi is like a son to Ron Dennis.

There is no way Ron would let him go without a fight.
I see Kimi driving for Maclaren for several years yet, just like Hakkinen did.

Thats an understatement. The man has the personality of a radish.
Whenever he tries to talk it looks like he's about to poo himself, or his jaw has been wired shut.

I have spoken to both Kimi and Mika at the Australian Grand Prix and both appear to be quite friendly. A shame that their PR image is completley the opposite

Hmmm doubt that Kimi is going to leave McLaren, after all it´s kind of been the team for Finns. Well as "radish" you seem to think Mika is, you can´t say he isn´t a great driver and still is in DTM.
