I see on other Emira discussions, references to FE 2.0 versus 1.0. Anyone understand what that refers to?

I'd have assumed they're talking about the 2.0 engine?

If not that then no idea.

FE 1.0 = First Edition v6. Initial launch car
FE 2.0 = First Edition 4 cylinder turbo. Deliveries are still some way off

Indeed. Never seen the v6 and 2.0 distinguished like that before and I've been all over the various forums since before launch, as you probably have too.

So there will not be another allotment of V6 cars? No global (usa) GT or lightweight track version for the the road?

As I understand it Emira's are at ports in the USA but not being released due to forth coming federalization paperwork.

Is that a question or a statement?

FE 2.0 is just a reference to the second batch of FE Emiras being sent to the Unites States and Canada (phrase coined by some North American dealers, I believe).....

Are they being sent in batches then? How many batches will go by before they lose count?

I think it's fair to say I'm not very convinced biggrin

Just read on another forum that the fist batch destined for the US didn't get on the boat.... as they arrived at the port a day late! Sounds about par for the course!

They’re being allocated to dealers in batches - USA is still following the “traditional” sakes model - 700 cars for the US and Canada dealers in the first batch, then another 600 in the second batch… Not all shipped at once though!
