What do you all think was the best Porsche used in a film and what makes it so good?

For example:

928 - used in Risky Business - why is it good? it sounds the nuts and was far ahead of its time

opinions please as I am really bored.. and depressed after watching the England Game. Still good on NI they deserved it.

I remember seeing an old movie once - must have been made in the late 80's about a gang that stole 911's

In "kiss the girls" and "along came a spider" , Morgan Freeman's detective character Alex Cross drives a classic 911 (early 1970s i think) in black.

Looks absol. stunning and epitomises the laidback coolness of his character.

Nice one fella

hey turbo - thanks mate...quite fancy a C4S or Turbo next myself! One of the best things abt ownership so far has been the discovery of PH.

Im technically inept,so its great to learn abt things from the many gurus that inhabit these virtual walls!

I could be wrong, but doesnt a silver 996 get stolen early on in "gone in 60 seconds" ?? Have vague recollections of it being driven thru the window of an OPC right at the beginning ?

...and mr.cruise in "Mission Impossible 2" spins that 996 cabrio whilst chasing that lovely lady in the not so lovely Audi TT

Yeh I remember that one, a yank film- gang nicking 911s & stripping them for parts & then fitting them to customers cars in their legitimate porker workshop, undercover cop infiltraits the gang etc etc. Couple of car chases I recall, must be the film with the most 911s in a that I can think of.

Well thats the (hardly complex) plot, buggered if I can remeber the name tho!

Other porker in film= 'True Romance', matey is driving 911 (while flat front cab I se to recall) in LA hills while snorting coke & getting a BJ off a hooker!

968 cab (complete with dubbed on V8 soundtrack)in The Specialist- woeful Stallone film

Robert Redfords Black 'T'?
mostly at the end of film, leaving CIA building,

IIRC exhaust note was dubbed from another model to satisfy, the directors perfect engine sound!

The film about stealing 911's was 'No Mans Land' starring Charlie sheen, great film. I've got it on video and have been trying to get it on DVD but it doesn't appear to be out yet.

Red 911 driven by the baddie in Commando, just before Arnie drops him off a cliff.

There is a 996 Turbo in the Fantastic 4 (I am told) think it gets trashed.

356 Speedster in Top Gun.
911 Flatnose in True Romance
928 in Scarface
996 in Hollowman - driven by Kevin Bacon

Ro.

PS : Bad Boys is a 964 Turbo. I love the start of that film !
