Hi all,

Is anyone else experiencing problems logging on to their EE account?

I haven’t been able to access my account via web or app since the beginning of the year. I rang them as I needed invoices for our year end and was told that there is a global issue affecting some accounts, mine included.

She emailed me my invoices and told me to reply to the email if I needed anything else.

I emailed them on 22 Jan asking about my roaming details as I was off to Switzerland. Received an email saying I would get a reply in 2 hours…still waiting for that reply.

Still cannot access the account and have sent 2 further emails with no reply.

I was told EE were the best provider and left O2, at a high cost to break contract, to join them. Been with them since September last year. This current issue is worse than anything O2 could have thrown at me!

Anyone experiencing the same?

Yes exactly the same been like this for 2 months. Asked them to send paper invoices until solved which they told me it would cost £4 per month, they would not budge. If it happens next month I’ll be invoicing them for my time and it will be more than £4. To be fair I have been with them for 10 years plus and they have been very good in comparison to Vodafone.

Had it for a year at least, they’ve been hopeless at fixing it.
Countless times they’ve allegedly fixed it while I’ve been on the phone to them only for it to happen again next time I log in.
What’s worse their security is so poor, someone hacked my account by somehow changing my password and getting a SIM card sent to their address. I’d even spotted something odd and told EE and they still sent the bloody thing out !
However, they’ve accidentally given me the address of the scammer …. and it’s only 30 miles away…..

Quick update on this.

Last week I requested a call back from my business account manager bod to discuss the problem. He confirmed that he could not get into the account and that he would escalate the problem and get back to me. That was last Tuesday…heard nothing. Now I have to waste more time calling them to email me invoices.

Luckily I only signed up for a year to try them out, needless to say I will not be continuing with them when the year is up.

To bring this thread to a close, after a round robin of the departments at EE yesterday they have given me my PAC and waived any charges for exiting early.

Result.

Popped to Vodafone to sign up. An hour and a half later I left with no contract or phone. They do their checks using the company number, which brings up my companies registered address at our accountants. And so the problems started. They could not understand that our trading address is different to our registered address The bank statement and utility bill that they requested has our trading address on, as it should. This made the computer say no. They tried a different credit check system they have…but that was not working. I managed to purchase a car in 15 minutes but cannot get a phone contract. They are calling me today with an update…

So, any other good providers for a business mobile account that isn’t O2 or EE and possibly Voda?

Why bother with a business account? Just set up a personal account. That's what I do. You get better deals on personal accounts. I have two numbers on my EE account, access to the site works fine when I need it.

Ok you don't get a nice vat invoice but so what. I just download a bill and use that.

Because of tax reasons and claiming expenses. It's far better that my company provides me with the phone. You have to split out business phone calls for claiming expenses.

The company can still provide you with a phone and pay the bill, it will just be in your name. I just take 25% off for personal use, been doing it that way for decades.
